Escaping
She's walking in a long, dark tunnel
At the end, she barely sees a dim, white light
Does it mean the end of all her pain?
Can it really be the end of her suffering?
Maybe it's an escape from her torturous life
She walks faster, hoping to finally escape
But the light at the end of the tunnel grows smaller
She soon realizes she's running in the wrong direction
"No, No! Go Back!" she tries to scream to herself
It doesn't work, and the light has disappeared
Another hope of escaping reality gone
Flushed down the toilet existing in her brain
One more shattered dream to add to her collection
Once more, she must endure her reality
Hoping that tomorrow will be the day
That "they" see her walking out of the tunnel
The tunnel that has entrapped her the past few years
Escaping all the pain
Escaping all the suffering
Escaping REALITY
