she follows Him blindly
entranced by his beautiful appearance
in her mind, she sees her Utopia
but what Death has given her
turns out to be a living Hell
a reality she cannot comprehend

she retreats into the depths of her mind
away from all of the pain
she picks up the gun from the nightstand
but isn't aware of her actions
her senses have been numbed

she does not hear the gun fire
nor does she feel her heart stop
for nothing touches her now
no harm can come to her
all pain has disappeared
she realizes she's been deceived
for her Utopia is nowhere around
and all she has left
are the fires of Hell
